I Wonder

September 24th, 2009  Tagged , ,

I wonder.. is there anyone still using Friendster especially those who are in my friend list? It has been a long time I didn’t sign into my account ever since Facebook is ruling the world. As usual, I am still as active as before, blogging in my http://curryegg.blogspot.com.

So, how are you my friends? How is everything? I shall take some times and observe and discover new messages, comments and function in friendster. Maybe I should give friendster another chance? Or maybe I should consider to update this blog often.

Well… emm…~

Ahww… It has been a long time I didn’t update my blog in Friendster. Honestly, I like this purple layout and hope that my curryegg.com will look like this. Well, I can’t find one. Sigh….

So, how are you guys lately? I’ve started my classes and will start to be very busy soon. Being a 2nd year senior is kinda fun. I get to know my juniors, getting more mature in handling my problems and I feel like home in my varsity. Unlike during my first semester, studying in UM totally feel strange to me. Ahwww….

I wanna enjoy my life while I’m still there. I wanna make more friends and discover every corner of my university before I leave. Besides, I wanna try to ‘communicate’ with the monkeys…

Communicate?

Believe? Lol… I am just joking. I know I will never speak, or play or even look at the monkeys anymore. Gosh! They chased me before and I really hate them!

Eeerrrrr!!!!

Whenever I blog in Friendster, I can totally feel like I’m writing on my secret diary. It feels great and I will try to blog more often here. But, will you read this?
:P

My Happy Large Family

May 17th, 2008

I want to share this post in my Friendster blog. A dedication to my relatives who were there and the users of Friendster. Thank you for creating such a happy moment with me. I’m glad to have you in my life.. ;)

I love my family.
They are the most important people in my life.
Without them, there will be no cheerful Curryegg in this world. Without
them, she will not be as positive as today.

As I’ve promised my
readers, I’ll blog about my days in Penang during last week. It was my
grandmother’s birthday and at the same time, we were celebrating
Mother’s Day with all the lovely mothers (including my relatives,
grandma and my mum).

Lately, it has been a practice in which everyone of us will make a gathering during Mother’s Day. So these are the photos!

*peace*

Sometimes,
it’s good to be children. You see, they have lot of fun. They kept on
running, playing and singing all the way without any worries. Uhhh… I
want to be small again..

This is my grandma’s cake. It’s kinda colourful however it tasted nice. Pandan and coffee flavour.

This is our big big big family! There are 4 generations here. Wow… not bad ya. Waiting my 4 year-old-niece and 7 year-old-nephew to get marry soon. Then, there will be 5 generation! Hahaha…  ;)

Family gathering is one of the best way to strengthen the relationship between family members.
That’s why I love FAMILY GATHERING! I hope it will become our culture soon.

May, The Month Of Disaster

May 14th, 2008

I
thought the month of May should be a relaxing month for the students
since the semester break is starting or will start soon (in most
country). However, it’s out of my expectation.

Each day, the
media will report big issues such as how the parliament in Malaysia
acted like a zoo, how men are going to extinct in another 1 million
years and how Josef Fritzl raped his daughter, Elisabeth in an
underground dungeon - and the abuse lasted 24 years.

He should be put in the jail and serve the community for the rest of his life.
:(

Well,
those are not a big, serious issues if compare to the cyclone in
Myanmar and earthquake in Sichuan Province, China which has killed
nearly 68,000 and 10,000 death respectively (and the amount of death
being reported is still increasing each day).

What’s happening to our Mother Earth right now?
Is it a hint that the world is going to end, soon?

I
really couldn’t stop myself from being upset and heart-breaking
whenever I watch the news on Myanmar and China. The cyclone in Myanmar
has drown thousands of lives while the earthquake was powerful enough
to be felt throughout most of China. Many children were buried under
the rubble of their schools. Isn’t that cruel? Why God is taking away
so many lives within weeks? Have we done something wrong?
Look at these:

Photos from Myanmar

Photos from China.

Resources: BBC.New

What do you see from these photos?
Grief, sorrow, severe losses and suffer.

Sometimes
I feel that God is really cruel for taking away so many innocent lives
within minutes. Why he willing to grab away lives of the innocent
students who were eager for knowledge at school? Why do he willing to
drown the poor residents in Myanmar and left nothing for those who
survive? Why people like Josef Fritzl is not been punished?

I
know, we should blame the God. There are always reasons behind any
incident. Maybe human should be blame for polluting the world each
millisecond in every part of the world. We pollute the air, we pollute
the water and land. As a result, global warming occurs and this has
caused a big hole on our ozone layer. Sigh… Big sigh…

Maybe
you’re thinking that global warming has nothing to do with natural
disaster. Well, there is a correlation between global warming and
cyclone in Myanmar. If you’ve watched a movie, "The Day After Tomorrow"
you will know how global warming will cause flood.

The effect of global warming:

Increasing global temperature will cause sea level to rise, and is expected to increase the intensity of extreme whether
events and to change the amount and pattern of precipitation. Other
effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, trade
routes, glacier, retreat, species extinctions and increases in the
ranges of disease vectors.

From Wikipedia.

Global
warming will bring a great effect to all of the residents on earth from
every now and then. We should get prepare with all the possibilities.
At the same time, we should put in some effort to prevent global
warming from becoming worse.

There are several easy practices which we can do:

  1. Reduce the use of plastic/polystyrenes/paper.
  2. Reduce the use of CFC stuff
  3. Stop open burning
  4. Recycle or reuse our old stuff
  5. Remind
others about global warming and human roles (human need to be reminded
all the time so that it will enter our long term memory)

Actually,
I’m not planning of doing a campaign on saving the world at the first
place while blogging about this post. Somehow, I don’t know how I’ve
come into this idea on how we can help the world. Lol..

Seriously, I hope I can help like these people who’re giving their hands to those victims.

sending food to the victims

I
still couldn’t effort to give $$$$ to help those victims but I hope I
can help. So, I’ve come to this idea to blog about this and hope people
around the world can help them- either by donating money to them via
any agency or by passing this message to others.

Remember, we’re lucky to be here with all the luxuries we have in our lives right now (or else, we will not be able to sit in front of the computer comfortably, reading this post, am I right?).

So be grateful with what we have and help those who’re in need.
They need our support.

How To Deliver Your Kisses For Your Love One?

May 6th, 2008

I kinda love this post so I wish to share it here in my Friendster blog. From my main blog- curryegg.com

Have you ever been kissed before?
Or, have you kissed someone before?

Kissing
is an expression of emotions whether that be friendship, love, or
passion. There are so many different types of kisses to express your
feeling either it’s a simple peck on the face or a passionate kiss
(including aggressive kiss, angle kiss, butterfly kiss, bambi kiss… OMG! I never know there are so many term for kisses. Read this!)
You must be stunned with the kissing terms! Haha…

So who is the person you will think of right now while reading this post?

your love one?

your doggie?
your mum?
(Ohh… Mother’s Day is just a stone throw.. )
Or… ?

No matter who, where or how you kiss it’s not my main discussion here. My main topic will be what will you do when your ‘sweetie‘ is staying far apart from you (example: oversea) and you wish to kiss him or her at that moment (since the last time you kissed him/her was about 5 months ago)? You wish him/her to feel your ‘passionate-hot-sweet-kiss‘ so that he/she will remember the sweet moment you’ve created with him/her. So… What will you do?

One of the suggested idea is this:

p/s: Thank Carol for sending this clip for me.

Lol…
Who
can beat the idea from the above video clip? It’s so creative! Do send
me an ‘eggs’ in my comment box if you’ve an even better idea. Haha…

I Don’t Know Why..

April 14th, 2008

I don’t know why I can’t concentrate in doing my revision right now.
Sigh.. Kinda suffering. Can’t fully concentrate in my studies, wanna play but my mind stop me.

It’s really sufferinggggg!!!
Help.. SOmeone please help me and be my ‘guru’. I need one to care and motivate me. Anyone in Friendster?

The Meaning Of True Friend

April 11th, 2008
A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives with beauty, joy and grace.
And makes the world we live in a better and happier place.

*unknown*

Everyone needs friends in their lives and so do I. A very famous idiom we’ve heard all the time: "No man live in an island".
True. I shall say, I will never have such a happy life as today if I
don’t have any friend. Maybe you may think that the more friends
you’ve, the better your life will be.

As for me, I prefer to
have few true friends than having a bunch of ‘fake’ friends. What’s
‘fake’ friends mean? Fake friend is someone who will be with you during
shine and leave you during rainy day. I believe you’ve met some of
them, don’t you? Or else your life are so beautiful with all true
friends around… (which I’ve always wanted to)

True good Friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to Forget! *G. Randoff*

True.
True friends are extremely hard to find and I’m grateful to have few of them. I should say… I’m lucky! ;)

Talking about true friend, it reminds me about my sweet moment with my best-true-happy-going-lucky-sweet friend, May (a.k.a Mug Mug). How could I forget the days we’d spent together at my house?

Her pinky and my huggie pup
(which she bought for me as my birthday present). Thank you.. ;)

As
expected, we spent hours and hours in the middle of the night, chatting
and laughing together until the next day, we couldn’t manage to wake up
for our 2-day-trip! OMG!

Before leaving KL, we’d been to the Palace to meet our Royal Highness…
The King’s horse.. Lol..

And even his soldier… Cool?!
;D
The
place was crowded with tourists and everyone was grabbing the chance to
snap photos around this area. It looks more like an exhibition hall to
me. Lol…

And the palace look like White House!
Wah…. @_@

Sweet moment: Mug Mug and Curryegg

Soon, we’d been to Gua Tempurung, Ipoh. Again, we didnt enter the place since we’re not into cave climbing.

Gua Tempurung (Tempurung Cave)

So, we were there playing with water and had our photography moment.. ;D

Kango River- Clean laving water..
Well.. true.. It’s indeed clean.. but where are the living things?
I love this picture..

My dad… Cool?
Mug Mug with her beautiful pose.. I took this.. ;D
Learning to be a model.. can someone teach me? Haha.. - taken by Mug Mug..
We tried to leave our footprints.. just like Neil Amstrong who left his foot steps on the moon surface area.. Lol..
I love playing with water!
What a rare fruits.. Do anyone know about this?

Soon, we continued our journey to the North of Malaysia. Along the sweet journey, my eyes spotted on this old bus..

Old…

You may ask, where was my destination?
Answer: Back to my hometown (Penang).

Haha…
Surprise! I went back to Penang last week under my packed schedule.
However, it’s worth it. Whenever I go back, I will feel fresher and
more energetic. This is why, I love Penang so much.

During that
2 days holiday, May, Steph and I made a small gathering at May’s house.
We’d our ‘pillow talk’ session and it was wonderful.

And of course, we will never miss out our ‘gila-gila’ moment… (crazy moment)

I wonder, when can we stop doing stupid/cute action in front of the camera? We’re 21 year old now!
Lol… Well, I don’t care… kekez… ;D

Frankly,
I’m glad to have my true friends in my life. No matter how far we stay
and how long we never meet, our friendships will still blossom as the
we grow older. Promise?

To
May, thank for being my friend for 9 years. You’re the one who are
always there for me whenever I need a lift. I hope, our friendship will
continue until the last breath we breath.

True Friends
There are many people, That we meet in our lives.
But only a very few will make a lasting
impression on our minds and hearts.

It is these people, That we will think of often
and who will always remain Important to us as….
TRUE FRIENDS.

My Friendster

March 14th, 2008

Recently, I’m so lazy. I don’t feel like studying, don’t feel like playing and don’t feel like talking. What happen to me?

I guess I’m too tire and need some times to rejuvenate myself. Let me feel young again. *wink*
However, my fingers are still active. I’m still an active blogger like before. I guess, I should stop myself from blogging and spend more time on my studies.. sigh… ;(

Anyway, I feel like blogging about my Frienster. Recently, I’ve added a number of friends from my college (3rd residential college) and I feel great. I feel like I’m getting ‘popular’.. Lol… Joking. I mean, my circle of friends in Frienster is getting wider and that’s a good news to me. It’s like from 308 turned into 640 people in my F

riendster contact.. haha… XD

Besides, friendster has strengthen my relationship with some of my friends, relatives and blogger by sending messages, comment or just simple appear in my ‘who view you’ stingy. For all this while, I though Friendster is just a place for uploading photo and being a KPC to read other’s profile. Haha….

Before ending this post, I should thank to all my friends in Friendster who love reading my blog (curryegg.com). I really feel proud to receive your positive comments from some of you. Thank you… thank you… ;)
Will try to improve myself..
hugs…

Have a nice weekend my friends. Do keep in touch with me.. Let me know more about you now… ^_^

24 Season Drum Tough Practise

February 3rd, 2008

Curryegg.Com proudly present you….
the member of Chinese 24 Season drummers….

*drum roll*

.

.
.
.
.
.
.

and myself.
*wink*

Recently,
I am really busy with my outdoor activities in my hostel (college 3rd).
There are volleyball practise, drum practise, photography and
multimedia. At the same time, I am trying to cope with my studies and
last but not least, my assignments. Well, stop that stressful stories
of mine and let’s listen about my 24 Season drum experience!

Before that, let have a quiz session.

Question:
Which first country introduces the 24 Season Drum?
.
.
.
.
.
.
Answer:
At the end of the post…  =D

There are a few preparations need to be done before playing the real drum. Well, for all this while, we are using the plastic chairs for our practise (even now). Serious?!!!
Ya… Serious! We can’t effort to buy 20 drums which cost thousands.
That’s why, we can only borrow the musical instruments from the kind
and generous 7th college which is just opposite our 3th college. *Thank
you*

First preparation:
Smoothen our wooden mop stick. Oopss… Did I just say mop stick?

????

Lol.. It’s a way to cut our cost by using mop stick. Hehe…

Next:
Take out all the drums and put them under the sun.

*heavy*

*rolling rolling*

Why?
So that the drum will get a tan. Muahaha… Ok ok. Let’s be serious.
The reason for this ’sun-bathing’ prosess is to evaporate all the water
molecules in order to get a better sound effect when we play.

Following that:
Warm-up!

Don’t
you think it’s tough to be a Chinese 24 drummers? We’ve to be strong
pysically and mentally. Gosh! I am getting darker now and I’ve mice on
my hands… I mean muscles!
Sad.. I’m not a woman anymore.. instead.. I am a man!
Sob… ;(

We were serious during practise (accept me… haha.. busying snapping photo all the way)

Anyway, we do have our SS session (Syiok Sendiri). That’s mean a session for us to have our free style photo session! Muahaha….

They are my drum friends and also my coursemates. Hehe… Wei, May, Yen.
May And I… ;)
I look so tire…
My friends…. They are so sweet.. ;D

Well, we do have our stress moment too because it’s hard to catch-up sometimes. Blame us for being such a perfectionist.

We want to perform the best that we can… That’s why, this boy is trying to practise by his own in one corner…

*Lonely… I Mr. Lonely… I’ve no buddy…..*

Coming post:
Photo session of us wearing PTH (Pesta Tiong Hua) T-shirt. Curious of what we were doing? Stay tune.
;D

The answer for the previous question (Which first country introduce the 24 Season Drum?)
Malaysia.

Malaysia Boleh! Wuoooo.. hu…..
Malaysian Can!

It’s So Happening

January 24th, 2008

At first, I thought 2008 will be an ordinary year for me with my boring routine: Assignments, homework, blogging… sleep.. eat… Lol..

However, the begining of the year has already suprised me.
I’ve entered:

  • the volleyball competition in UM (competition on 12 Feb 2008)
  • Chinese 24 drum practise for PTH (Pesta Tiong Hua for my hostel dated on: 3 March 2008)
  • The Golden Compass blogging competition held by All Malaysian Blogger (2nd prize but I haven’t get it.. sigh…)
  • Traffic Jam Event held by Nuffnang and Youth08 (runner up for Most Creative iTalk Buddy Post)

Along these events and competition, I’ve made a number of friends. Yahooo! Making new friends is so much fun… The feeling is so great although they are stranger at first. Well, if you don’t give a chance to know strangers, how will they turn up to be your friends in future? Am I right?

It’s a good start for me in 2008 and I hope this year will be my year.. kekekzz…
